Mammut

Founded in 1862 by Kaspar Tanner in Switzerland, Mammut initially manufactured climbing ropes. The name Mammut came much later, in 1943, as a symbol of strength and power. At the end of the 1970s, the first Mammut clothing collection was introduced and inspired customers far beyond Switzerland's borders.
