Red Wing was founded in 1905 in the U.S. The company became popular for its shoes made for oil field workers and farmers. Red Wing produced shoes for the U.S. Army in the two World Wars. In the course of the years, the company developed new sole techniques to improve the shoes’ comfort. Still today, the threefold reinforced stitching, the resistant leather and the robust frame are produced with handcraft.
