In the 1930s, the company founder Rinaldo Codello came to Munich with a vision from Italy. He combined the traditional and elaborate craftsmanship of cloth printing with inspirations from his travels. He used various classic print motifs, which he reassembled and had printed on silk with striking colour compositions. From this, he developed an unmistakable signature and his own design style.
